A wonderful day at the farm was one of our adventures in half term last week. We visited Lee Valley Park Farm in Waltham Abbey. This was a favourite place of mine as a child and my children love it just as much. We had an amazing time. There was so much to do & see. I highly recommend visiting.Lee Valley Park Farms WebsiteHere some photo's of our adventure.... |
We took a free tractor ride to a cow farm. |
The Tweedles loved the calves. |
Then we went to see cows being milked |
The Tweedles were fascinated by the milking, which we watched from a lovely viewing gallery. |
We met cute sheep, |
some lovely pigs |
and some fun goats! |
We saw an amazing Birds of Prey Display! |
We dug for dinosaur bones. |
We slid down Alpine Adventure in the doughnuts |
We climbed the Spider Tower. |
We played in the Bundle Barn |
We loved the new Meerkat Lookout enclosure. |
We played in the sand pit next to the meerkats. |
Our favourite thing was this gigantic 'pillow'. Crossed between a bouncy castle & trampoline, this was amazing fun. |
We all had a brilliant day, we had only got half way home when The Tweedles were already asking when we can go again. A new play area is also currently being built (due in March 2015), so of course a great excuse to visit soon.
Plans for the new play area! |
